The Makita AF506 18 Gauge 2-inch Brad Nailer is designed with durability and compactness in mind, making it easy to use for a wide range of finish applications. With a narrow-nose design, it is ideal for various finish applications. The AF506 can operate from 70 to 120 PSI and can drive 18 gauge brad nails ranging from 5/8” to 2 inches, with a magazine capacity of up to 100 nails.

The nose piece of the AF506 is cast and machined to ensure precise contact with the workpiece, while the non-marring rubber nose protects the work surface. Its ultra-narrow nose design allows for fastening in confined areas, and the “tool-less” depth adjustment dial enables easy setting for different finish applications. The multi-directional exhaust port rotates 360 degrees to direct exhaust air away from the user.

This nailer is engineered to drive 18 gauge brad nails from 5/8" to 2" into both hard and soft wood applications, making it perfect for trim work, baseboard and crown molding installation, flooring, and other woodworking applications. It features a powerful motor and is constructed with an aluminum body, magazine, and cylinder for strength and durability, while weighing only 2.9 lbs.
